As to your first question, I would say that it seems to be a fairly accurate if somewhat poetic assessment of Dickinson, judging purely by the primary focuses of her work. I cannot say what else there was in her life, I know her only through her poetry. Still, it seems plain that these things were all of huge significance to her.
As to your second, it seems to me that the writer was referring more to the sorts of things you first offered. All of the intangibles of which each of us is aware but not always very closely in touch with. I do think that those are probably the sorts of topics the author meant by implying that she made others uncomfortable with her insights. After all she still does that to many today with her poems, think how much more unsettling it would have been, face to face, in her rather buttoned down era.
So, yes, essentially I think you're right, but I think that the author was saying that it was her spoken perceptions of the intangibles that made others nervous. I don't think they were saying that her third world was that of others inability to experience those intangibles as she herself could.
